My role is to deploy commercial development initiatives across Africa through partnerships with the goal of availing quality veterinary vaccines and pharmaceuticals to smallholder farmers.

I have a BSC, MSc in applied parasitology and PhD in applied parasitology all from the University of Nairobi. I am also a certified Prince2TM practitioner.
I am a strategy implementation, project management, project governance, project finance and analytics professional, with more than 10 years’ experience in a commercial setting. I am also a researcher with published articles in vaccine and drug development. My career history in brief started with a short stint in a pharmaceutical service company before joining Barclays Bank where I started out as a Management Information (MI) analyst for Barclays Bank Kenya then moved to Barclays Africa where I held project related roles with the last one as Project Governance Manager for Africa. Thereafter I moved to I&M Bank where I served as Strategy and Transformation Manager responsible for implementing the new 5 year strategy.
I am (almost) embarrassed to say one of the things I thoroughly enjoy is building excel models. On other less boring stuff, I frequently play touch rugby, occasionally play soccer, swimming (rarely haha) and sing in my church choir. I love traveling with my wife to experience other lands, people and cultures. I also enjoy family time… my little nieces and nephew just melt my heart!
