Our Enabling Environment approach
An enabling environment that allows for the successful translation of research products to sustainable animal health solutions for small scale livestock producers is essential to achieving GALVmed’s mission. A conducive policy and regulatory environment promotes sustainable availability, accessibility, and ultimately, adoption of affordable quality, safe and efficacious veterinary medicines. Our enabling environment work supports our product development and commercial development activities and is aligned with the needs of the ecosystem.
Through our enabling environment activities, we seek to understand policy and regulatory constraints to widespread adoption of effective animal health products, raise awareness of the value of livestock vaccination and advocate for greater private sector engagement as a means to sustainable delivery of livestock health products and services.
