Role in GALVmed
As Director of R&D I am responsible for the management of all bacterial and viral vaccine development programmes apart from the AgResults Brucella and FMD prizes, and also smaller vaccine, diagnostics and disease surveillance projects.
I also support the Head of R&D with R&D strategic discussions and opportunity evaluations.

Relevant career highlights
Following two post doctoral positions in veterinary microbiology and immunology, I joined the animal health industry and over the 15+ years have worked across analytical development, vaccine formulation, clinical study management, and latterly new vaccine development programme management.
Interests
My main interest is cycling and I have several bikes strewn about my house ready to tackle all terrains! I also have a lovely dog who keeps me entertained, and recently I have started early morning yoga practice on the coast near where I live.
