Relevant career highlights
I have 20 years of experience working in the Kenyan Government in various capacities. Under the State Department of Livestock in the Directorate of Veterinary Services, I worked in disease control, training of animal health personnel, and veterinary medicines regulatory services. I was also very involved in the setting up of the Marketing Authorization department at the newly formed Veterinary Medicines Regulatory Authority (Veterinary Medicines Directorate-Kenya). In my capacity as the Head registration and regulatory department, I was a member of the Coordination Group Mutual Recognition for the EAC MRP process and had a lot of success as a reference country coordinator of EAC MRP process.
