Hameed Nuru, GALVmed Senior Director of Policy and Advocacy, says: “This month we have another packed newsletter to bring our friends and partners up to date with our current work and our future plans.
In this issue we share the good news of our renewed grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the UK Government. This has enabled an exciting and ambitious business plan to be drawn up and the newsletter sets out some of the key points of the plan.
Our newsletter is now received by more than 2,000 subscribers. The web news stories and all the articles from the newsletters can now also be viewed in the activities section of our website, organized by theme.
So, if you visit the News & Resources section of this website you can see either the complete newsletters – such as the February issue which was devoted to the VACNADA project, or you can find all our past stories under the appropriate theme in the activities section. We hope this will make it easier for you to follow what we are doing on-line.
This month we also congratulate Shujaaz, our partner in the advocacy campaign the Kenyan Dream Initiative, on their victory at the digital Emmy awards on 1 April 2012.”
