Home News General GALVmed board strengthened!

Steve Sloan, Chief Executive of GALVmed, said:

We are pleased to be welcoming Dr Shadrack Moephuli back to the GALVmed board, after a period away, and to be joined by Dr Lindiwe Sibanda.  They will be a great asset and they will strengthen the governance and advisory body.

As we take on new priorities and extend the geographic reach of GALVmed it is essential that we review our board membership, recruiting people who bring the skills, knowledge and judgement we require to move into the future.

The GALVmed board meets four times a year – twice in person and twice via video conferencing.

Notes

Dr Moephuli was confirmed as a board member at the GALVmed AGM in October 2010. He will Chair the Policy Committee.
