GALVmed recently participated in the 11th African Dairy Conference and Exhibition held at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi, Kenya from the September 23rd to 25th 2015. This year’s conference theme was ‘Retooling for Posterity’ and it discussed the different complimentary roles played by key stakeholders for the benefit of dairy productivity in Africa and how those roles can fit into the current environment.
Our main objective was to network and create awareness of our various livestock products – with the main focus being on the Muguga Cocktail, East Coast Fever Vaccine.
Visitors to our exhibition were educated on the various animal health products we promote while ECF vaccinations were demonstrated by trained vaccinators. Visitors also had the opportunity to watch a video presentation on the ECF vaccination benefits and process. GALVmed representatives at the conference were: Dr Heshborne Tindih, Dr Samuel Adediran, Kellen Asena and our ECF partners in Kenya.
The ESADA conference provided a good networking opportunity for GALVmed, especially with the many international visitors in attendance, and it positioned us as key leaders in offering livestock solutions. The conference provided us the opportunity to meet and make contacts with prospective partners and interested potential customers of our partners’ livestock health products.
