I manage the data requirements of GALVmed Monitoring & Evaluation. I also assist other departments with their technical requirements related to data collection, processing and analysis.
I graduated with an honours degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Edinburgh in 2016. I then trained to become a high school Maths teacher prior to starting with GALVmed in 2017. I also worked as a youth outreach worker in Botswana in 2014 as part of voluntary service overseas (VSO).
To apply the tools of Mathematics and Statistics to complex Veterinary Medical problems in the context of international development is a thoroughly enjoyable and fulfilling job.
It is great to work with a group of people with such a broad set of backgrounds and specialties, and be able to offer up my own perspective.
I enjoy mind sports like chess and poker and doing a healthy number of sudokus per day. I also enjoy going on walks with a podcast or heading to the cinema. When I can, I like to watch football, cycling and athletics.
