My role is to look forward and develop a strategy for GALVmed’s market development approach and to work closely with the organisations that we agree to partner with for the large-scale market development projects, which will be implemented during the next few years.
Since the early 1980s, I have worked in commercial roles in leading international life-science companies in the crop science and animal health sectors. I started in front-line sales and marketing, and moved into strategic and business management roles. For ten years I was in global positions, which gave me extensive experience of product and market development working with operating units in both developed and developing countries.
I have a BSc in biology and Ph.D in population dynamics. Recently, I went back to being a student again and gained an MSc from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. I also have a diploma in marketing from the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing.
My work interests are around sustainable business models in the agriculture and food sector. Apart from spending time with my super family my personal interests include running, swimming, playing classical guitar and skiing.
