Role in GALVmed
With the R&D team, I am responsible to Promote Product development and Innovation that serve small-scale livestock producers in Sub-Saharan Africa & South Asia. This involves partnering with universities, research institutes, and the private sector to develop high impact health interventions where main targets are vaccines, anti-parasiticides and diagnostic tools, for disease affecting Poultry, Small and Large Ruminants.

Relevant career highlights
- Research Immunology team manager – Sanofi Pasteur (2007 to 2013) where I developed animal models to characterize the immune response of new vaccine / adjuvant candidates for humans.
- Head of the Laboratory of Immunology in Animal Health – Merial (2013 to 2017).
- Head of Immunology and Antigen Design – Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health (2018 to 2020), where I led a team of scientists and technicians dedicated to the evaluation of protective Immune responses, and identification of adjuvants or immunomodulators.
