Paul van Aarle is co-Chair of the board and has been a board director since September 2013. He also the Market Development and Access Committee Chair.
He was previously a board member for Intervet (now Merck). As a veterinary consultant, Paul uses his decades of veterinary and business experience working for the FAO and Intervet. He previously was the Director for Institutional Sales at MSD Animal Health where he was strategically responsible for notifiable disease control tools (i.e. vaccines) such as Foot and Mouth Disease, Classical Swine Fever, Avian Influenza, Bluetongue, Tuberculosis, Rabies and (re-)emerging diseases.
He also had global responsibility for relationship management with national governments, UN organisations, NGOs and the OIE.
He currently resides in the Netherlands.
